Youth Finacial Capability Classes

The financial capability team are working on a number of projects across the Mendips and in conjunction with other Somerset Citizens Advice staff and volunteers.

Our aim is to deliver quality, appropriate material to young people to raise awareness of money management and safe practices.

We do this in a variety of ways, working with young people in schools delivering our own programme called Childrens Voices Changing Choices, or in fun sessions to the younger age groups. We also deliver budgeting workshops and money management sessions in youth clubs, residential youth homes, and with other groups of young people such as scouts and guides.
